Jacquelin Forsey
Jacquelin is a PhD student at the Rehabilitation Sciences Institute at the University of Toronto under the supervision of Dr. Stella Ng and Dr. Nikki Woods. Previously she completed an undergraduate degree in English Literature at McGill University. Her research interests are focused on the way we prepare medical learners to become expert communicators. Jacquelin’s doctoral work takes a linguistic lens to explore the conceptual knowledge, the basic science, underpinning patient-provider communication. Her first study, a critical scoping review of patient-provider communication came out in 2021, and she is currently working on an analysis of communication teaching materials at UHN.
