  • A workshop delivered with external collaborators that explored faculty members’ fear of feedback and approaches to fostering a more supportive feedback culture. TitledWalking on Eggshells Without Breaking Them: Unscrambling Faculty Apprehensions around Feedback,” this session was collaboratively developed and delivered by Joanne Hamilton (University of Manitoba), Katherine Wisener (University of British Columbia), Heather Buckley (University of British Columbia), and Latika Nirula (University of Toronto).
  • A workshop held collaboratively with other thought leaders in faculty development that reimagines faculty development as a driver of organizational change, positioning it beyond individual programs and offerings. Titled “Beyond the Workshop: Faculty Development as an Agent of Change for the Future of Academic Medicine,” this AFMC Faculty Development Committee session was presented by Fareen Zaver (University of Calgary), Susanna Talarico (University of Toronto), Elizabeth Roslowsky (University of Alberta), Latika Nirula (University of Toronto), Joanne Hamilton (University of Manitoba) and Heather Buckley (University of British Columbia).
