On June 21, 2021, Dr. Betty Onyura began her role as the Centre’s Associate Director, Evaluation and Knowledge Mobilization. Betty has extensive expertise in evaluation and knowledge mobilization, bringing more than a decade of experience to this role. She holds a PhD in Organizational Psychology and is a Credentialed Evaluator and regional (Ontario) board director with the Canadian Evaluation Society.

Betty has led and consulted on diverse evaluative studies of complex educational interventions across the Toronto academic health sciences network. She led the renewal and implementation of the CFD’s evaluation strategy, and has built a reputation for spearheading innovative, evaluation projects, with technical savvy, resourcefulness, and integrity.

More recently, Betty has also been selected as the 2021 recipient of the DFCM Award of Excellence in Education Scholarship – New Education Scientist Scholar. Congratulations Betty!
