The winners of the 2021 University of Toronto Temerty Faculty of Medicine Awards have been announced and included in the winners this year are our very own Lindsay Baker, Latika Nirula, and Sameena Ahmed!
Both Lindsay and Sameena were awarded the Colin Woolf Excellence in Program Development and Coordination Award for program development and coordination of the Centre for Faculty Development Stepping Stones: A Foundational Faculty Development Program. The Colin R. Woolf Awards recognize excellence in program development and coordination, long term contributions to continuing professional development, and sustained excellence in teaching in continuing professional development.
Latika was awarded the Canadian Association for Medical Education (CAME) Certificate of Merit. This certificate recognizes faculty who are committed to medical education in Canadian medical schools and have made valuable contributions within their medical school. Latika is the Director of the Centre of Faculty Development, after serving most recently as the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health’s (CAMH) Director of Simulation and Teaching Excellence for eight years.
