Karen Leslie

Karen Leslie is a Professor of Paediatrics and a staff paediatrician in the Division of Adolescent Medicine at SickKids. She is a clinician-educator, involved in teaching and learning activities across many different contexts and learner groups. Her areas of scholarly focus in health professions education include faculty development, career development and mentoring.

Karen was the Director of the Centre for Faculty Development from 2009-2020 after serving as Associate Director from 2005-2009. She is past chair of the Association of Faculties of Medicine of Canada Faculty Development Committee and is currently co-chair of the Association of Medical Education Europe (AMEE) Faculty Development Committee.  

She currently teaches in Stepping Stones, and is involved in the Mentoring Community of Practice and the Late Career Transitions  Community of Practice.
