Grecia Alaniz

Grecia is a pelvic health physiotherapist and PhD Candidate in Health Professional Education at Western University, where she also serves as a Research Fellow at the Wilson Centre. Currently, she works as a Research Officer at the University of Toronto's Dalla Lana School of Public Health, leading the qualitative research component of a national primary care project. Grecia's doctoral research uses critical health discourse to examine fetal health surveillance technologies in pregnancy and childbirth management, bridging clinical practice with critical reflexivity. As an adjunct lecturer in the Department of Physical Therapy at the University of Toronto, Grecia brings a critical lens to clinical education, highlighting the social and ethical dimensions of practice and fostering diverse understandings of musculoskeletal conditions.
