Congratulations to our very own Dr. Brenda Mori!

Brenda was recently announced as the 2021 Helen Saarinen Lecturer, McMaster University. She is our current Program Lead for the Education Scholars Program and one of the co-developers of the Teaching for Learning and Collaboration Program. Brenda is an Associate Professor, Continuing Teaching Stream and the Director of Clinical Education and Community Affairs at the Department of Physical Therapy at the University of Toronto where she leads the clinical education curriculum for the Entry-level MScPT degree program.

The Helen Saarinen Lectureship was established in 1997 in honour of Helen Saarinen (1933-1996) co-founder of the School of Rehabilitation Science and first Chair of the undergraduate pro-gram in Physiotherapy at McMaster University. This Lectureship is a memorial to an outstanding colleague who was dedicated to the advancement of rehabilitation practitioners in general and physiotherapists in particular.
