Q: Is becoming a "CFD Faculty Member" the same as having an academic appointment?
A: No. CFD Faculty Membership recognizes those who teach within our CFD programs. Of course we are happy for you to proudly share this membership status you hold at our Centre, but it is not the same as a faculty appointment at the university and does not follow the same requirements and accountabilities.
Q: I am already a faculty member at the the University of Toronto. Do I still need to become a "CFD faculty member"?
A: Being a CFD Faculty Member is a membership category that recognizes those who are actively teaching this academic year within our program. This is independent of holding an faculty academic appointment at the University. If you do not teach this year at the CFD in our programs, you should consider our General membership category for signing up.
