Thank you to Brenda and BA!

The Centre for Faculty Development (CFD) would like to celebrate Dr. Brenda Mori and Dr. Barbara Ann Millar for their long-standing dedication and contributions to the Education Scholars Program (ESP) and the CFD as they embark on new academic leadership initiatives across our system.

Both Brenda and BA have put their hearts and souls into ESP.  Brenda is a graduate of the very first cohort of ESP (2004-2006), taking on the role of Associate Director in 2006 and Director in 2012.  BA was part of the second cohort (2006-2008), moving into the role of Associate Director in the spring of 2011.  Their commitment to ESP and their contributions to advancing the field of faculty development is evident in the success of the program and beyond.  ESP is considered a gem across Toronto Academic Health Sciences Network and University of Toronto.   Many of the over 150 graduates are now in senior academic leadership positions, influencing all levels of the health sciences system.  Brenda and BA have thoughtfully cultivated partnerships and relationships with faculty and scholars alike, evidenced by the community of scholars that they have nurtured both within and across cohorts.

The CFD will be forever grateful to Brenda and BA.  We wish them the very best and know they will continue to meaningfully impact both individuals and the system through their work.  Thank you Brenda and BA!
