ESP Curriculum Renewal Update

The Education Scholars Program  is embarking on a renewal for the 2022-2023 academic year.   Continuous curriculum renewal is a hallmark of quality education and is essential to be responsive to system needs and evolving best practices in education.  Other programs across the Centre [Stepping Stones, Teaching and Learning in the Clinical Context (TLC), New and Evolving Academic Leaders Program (NEAL)] have undergone or are undergoing similar curricular reviews.   These efforts are aligned and underpinned by commitments highlighted in our most recent strategic plan including:

  • Cultivating a learning environment that instills a sense of belonging and supports life-long learning;
  • Embodying principles of anti-racism and anti-oppression in all our program activities;
  • Enacting programs that are visionary and responsive to emerging trends and needs of the health system and are informed by best practices;
  • Advancing how the field engages with digital technology for health professions education.

We are currently recruiting for a Program Advisor to help inform the ESP renewal efforts and will be welcoming applications for the next cohort in the Winter of 2023.
