The Helen Batty Awards recognize excellence in faculty development programming and teaching in the Temerty Faculty of Medicine at the University of Toronto.

Applications are invited across three categories:

  1. Sustained Excellence in Teaching in Faculty Development
  2. Excellence or Innovation in Program Development and Design
  3. Sustained Excellence as a Faculty Developer

    The Centre for Faculty Development’s Teaching and Learning in the Clinical Context (TLC) program is designed for supervisors/preceptors to develop the foundational knowledge and skills needed to effectively teach learners in various clinical contexts. This iteration of the TLC program is uniquely contextualized for the Scarborough expansion and will build a community of support for those involved to connect about clinical teaching.
