Meet the Team

Laura Hayos   MScOT, OT Reg. (Ont.)

Education Development Lead, Clinical Teaching and Operations
Lecturer, Department of Occupational Science and Occupational Therapy, University of Toronto

Laura is involved with strategically developing and implementing new faculty development initiatives with local and international partners at the Centre for Faculty Development. She works with faculty leads and program committees to plan, implement and deliver CFD programs including the New and Evolving Academic Leaders (NEAL) Program. Laura brings a decade of experience working in health care to the CFD as both a registered occupational therapist and educator in remote Northern communities as well as urban hospitals. Laura has a special interest in clinical education, in particular simulation-based education and faculty development. Laura is a sessional course instructor in the MScOT program at the University of Toronto and is currently pursuing her Master of Education (Health Professions Education) at the University of Ottawa.
