Description
This workshop is part of Education Week at Unity Health. The overarching theme of the 2022 Education Week is Ignite, Innovate and Include: Creating the Future of Healthcare through Education.
This 90 minute interactive workshop will unpack the ideas of tokenization, representation and inclusion through stories and group participation. We will explore a case study of how land acknowledgements have been taken up in recent years in academic and health care settings, and critically examine through the lenses of tokenization, representation and inclusion. We will conclude with a set of transformative questions for participants to continue meaningfully working with these ideas, and support participants to actively engage with them in small groups.
Please note: As an Education Week at Unity Health event, priority for registration is for Unity Health Toronto Staff, Physicians and Learners across all health professions as well as Patient and Family Partners.
This workshop is not a part of the CFD Stepping Stones Program.
