Anti-Oppression

The resources included in this section will help you begin to think about racism and oppression. We include many resources that cover Core Concepts of Anti-Oppression, including resources that problematize “equity, diversity, and inclusion’ the way they are currently conceptualized. We also include a number of resources to help you understand the ways in which racism and other oppressive practices and ways of being Show Up in the World and in our workplaces.  Importantly, we also include resources that can help you think about How to Take Action at personal, interpersonal, institutional and societal levels.

** We wanted to present these resources to you in a way that demonstrated their interconnectedness and the ways in which they overlapped and flowed into and from one another. Despite numerous attempts and engagement with consultants, we learned that most website technology and script simply does not allow for this kind of non-linear flow and non-hierarchical organization. This was a point of learning for us, too!
