Laura leads education development and financial operations at the CFD and is the program lead for the CFD’s foundational clinical teaching program, TLC. Laura has over a decade of experience working in healthcare as an occupational therapist in both clinical and education roles, in remote Northern communities as well as urban hospitals. She combines her passion and expertise as a clinician and educator to her work at the CFD.  Laura has been the recipient of multiple local teaching awards for clinical preceptorship as well as curriculum design. She is a sessional course instructor in the MScOT program at the University of Toronto and is currently pursuing her Master of Education (Health Professions Education) at the University of Ottawa.
