Diane de Camps Meschino

Diane de Camps Meschino is a psychiatrist, awarded education scholar, artist, and associate professor in the department of psychiatry, University of Toronto.

Building on a deep appreciation of historical and current discourses on gender, equity, rights, justice, leadership, and power Dr Meschino dedicated her career to compassionate healthcare and system change. As an early pioneer in women’s mental health, she founded / co-founded programmes dedicated to unserved populations across Canada (pelvic pain; reproductive mental health). She established a leadership curriculum in the department of psychiatry UofT, and serves as vice chair for an international community of practice for health leadership education. Roles with the RCPSC include being a member of the Exam Board and their Planetary Health initiative.
