Leadership

The Leadership section houses resources that cover vital topics including Academic Leadership, Change Management, Graduate Supervision, Mentorship and Coaching, and Promotions and Teaching Dossiers.  These resources are intended to support both formal and informal leadership activities in the academic health sciences as well as career development for all health professions at various stages in their careers.

An academic leader is someone who engages in leadership to advance the academic health missions of research, education, innovation and clinical service. Every Academic Health Science Centre is unique so there will be a diversity of agendas that will fall within these domains. These academic leaders may or may not have a formal title but enact leadership by engaging with others to fulfill a shared purpose.
