Securing grant funding is essential for advancing research and scholarship in health professions education (HPE). This interactive workshop is designed to equip health professionals—across disciplines and career stages—with practical skills and strategies for developing and writing grant proposals in HPE.
Participants will explore key components of successful grants including assembling your team, crafting clear research questions, aligning projects with funding priorities, articulating significance and impact, and presenting feasible methods and budgets.
Through hands-on activities, attendees will leave with increased confidence and actionable tools to support their grant writing endeavors in the context of HPE.
By the end of this workshop, participants will be able to:
- identify HPE relevant funding opportunities
- develop HPE related research/scholarship questions
- identify opportunities to improve writing clarity
