Description

We live in what many call VUCA times, where Volatility, Uncertainty, Complexity and Ambiguity pervade both our personal and societal contexts. While climate change, globalization, and digital transformation are examples of VUCA at work, so too is the healthcare context.  How do you lead change in such an environment? How can we do so in a way that optimizes the conditions for humans to thrive when the grounds beneath and around them are shifting?

This interactive workshop on Leading Change explores methods for leading change in complex environments.  It will provide participants with the principles of change management and frameworks for leading change.  Underscoring the importance of distributed leadership in leading change, we will describe techniques for engaging the creativity and commitment of stakeholders, as well as methods for surfacing and surmounting hidden barriers to implementation. Finally we will explore leadership communication techniques and organizational culture that optimizes successful change.
